TRACEY TANNER
Chartered Physiotherapist
GradDip Phys MAACP MCSP HCPC
I graduated from the University Hospital of Wales Cardiff in 1985 and began my career in the NHS gaining extensive experience in all aspects of clinical physiotherapy. During my NHS career I developed an interest in musculoskeletal medicine and sports injuries.
In 1989 I left the NHS and established my own private practice and became one of the first women in the country to work in professional rugby – a fact that became of newsworthy interest when my daughter was due to be born on the same day as the New Zealand All Blacks played the team I was working with.
I have continued to expand my post graduate education extensively including gaining membership of the Acupuncture Association Of Chartered Physiotherapists. My practice continued to expand establishing professionally respected connections with the local community, medical professionals, sports clubs and occupational organisations.
After 27 years of developing the practice I have ‘handed the reins’ over to Christine whilst I remain working within the team as a clinical specialist in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and pain management.
